Have Heart Media is hiring an Assistant Social Media Manager to create content and provide support for multi-client social media strategies on different platforms.

This position is perfect for someone interested in beginning a career in the fast growing and continuously evolving industry of social media. The ideal candidate will have some experience with business accounts on the two major platforms of Facebook and Instagram. They will gain hands on experience with professional and commercial content creation, company branding and specific knowledge about social media algorithms and analytics. 

Job Description 

  • Weekly photography sessions

  • Occasional graphic design 

  • Weekly reporting and analytics

  • Daily social media engagement 

  • Occasional administrative duties 

Requirements 

  • DSLR camera with manual shooting experience

  • Cell phone with camera

  • Computer and internet access

  • Personal Facebook and Instagram accounts (required to link for business access)

  • Occasional Friday evening/night availability

  • Strong independent time management skills

  • Must have heart and passion for creativity

This position will be an estimated 7-10 hours a week with a contracted monthly salary of $750 (1099-MISC). There will be opportunity for additional commission by prospecting and securing new clients.

Interviews will be held in April with a projected May start date.
